Events: Meet and Greet Arrivals and Announcements - Bring (or not) light hors d' oeuvres and your own dinnerware.

Monday, September 22

Events: Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, the Galloping Goose (train) Historical Society of Dolores, CO Museum, if open, and to the Four Corners Monument in the afternoon. Pot Luck dinner.

Events: Mesa Verde National Park - Meet at 7:30 am to caravan together. Don't forget your National Park Senior pass and bring a sack lunch.

Events: Caravan to Durango. Leave by 10:30 am.

Events: Ride on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Be at the station by 7:15 am. Our train car is named the NIGHT SKY. Ask for the seats on the Right Hand side for the best views and in front of seats 11 and 12, the Beadles' seats. In Silverton, line up for our return bus by 2:15 pm. The left side seats will have the better views. The views are spectacular and the bus takes you back on the Million Dollar Highway. Make your own train and bus reservations. Between now and September 19, you can cancel with a $14.00 cancellation fee.

Saturday, September 27
Campsite: Chris Park Group Campground, San Juan National Forest; 900 Chris Park Road; Durango, CO 81301; 1-970-884-2512. Reservation made.
Events: Caravan on the Million Dollar Highway, US Highway 550, to our next site with plenty of stops and Fall Aspen colors. Our group site will be dry camping. Please snag a bundle of wood before we park to add to the fire. Fill up with water and dump your tanks in Durango.

Events: Caravan to Ouray - Our site is a walk into town. Walk, hike, rent a jeep, soak in the hot springs, shop, or more. Ouray, Colorado.
